can you check whether the recovery model of that perticular database is 'Simple'. You can't backup the log files of a 'Simple' database<br />

I am using the DBMaintenance plan to backup the transaction log of two Databases. One database in the plan backs up the trans log just fine. But the other &nbsp;Database trans log fails with the following error message:&quot; SQLMAINT.exe process exit code: 1 failed&quot;<br />
