How Can I Remove The Virus From My Network?

I'm the System Adminitrator of some educational institute, I've setup of 100 PC's of Network and they're all infected by viruses i've ran Antivirus Software but they come again! Such as "My-Wife,w32-Pirate, etc etc" now i'm totaly helpless so i need your help, How can get the rid of from this virus and tell me the nice way for cleanup these viruses so that it wouldn't come again.

If you use Norton antivirus then you have to live latest update from internet first and you are getting problem to delete the virus because you have not update your antivirus definition yet so please update latest definition of your antivirus

1.I have also recommend Norton antivirus for these virus with latest update .
2.And I also advise you please use the corporate version of Norton or any antivirus software because this secure for the whole network and all pc of network secure each other to prevent virus infection.

IF you really want to have a perfect solution,
it will Cost you, how much is your Budget?
What anti virus solution you have you have?
Have you got any Ghosting images for the compters??
are all the computers from same company?

i've read all of your comments and they little bit satisfied me, now i've one more question! can i install Norton Internet Security 2005 in every client of my network so that no virus can affect my client side? Does this solution work? Please tell me i'm waiting for positive answer.

If you have windows XP SP2, then you better stick with XP2.
Norton Firewall is not stable to my experiance.
Just install the Norton Antivirus.

you better install the AntiVirus Client Server software, by this you will have a central control on your network and good monotering and reporting system

I can suggest, Trend Micro Office Scan 7.

Hi,

YEs if you install the norton antivirus corporate edition and every day update the definition of viruses then your network will 99% virus free.

In the Antivirus software case

1. Update every day the virus definition its required
2. make sehedule of update virus in the window secdhule task so virus definition automatic install

Use a better firewall like zone alarm its user friendly and better so its also prevnet the use less traffic

What is the product name for Norton and its version.

I am not sure but to my knowledge
Norton 2005 is not an Corporate product, its an end user product....
i dont think you will achieve client server architecture with Norton 2005...
