Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube

When accessing the Project Server 2003 web site the server itself, I can use the portfolio analyser (Analysis services) without problem.
When I try to do the same thing from a client, when I try to modify the available views to include portfolio analyse, I get this message:

"Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube"

Cubes look ok, rights look ok, ...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is the MS Project server  installed on tha same box as MS SQL server. in case that isn't are you able manage analisys services prom project server ? If not you have to install on the project server the same patch which is deployed on SQL server.

When you "I try to do the same thing from a client", are you logged into the client system with the same username and password you used on the server?

If not, give this a try first.

If you are using the same username and password, does Project Web Access (PWA) recognize you as the same user on the PWA Home page?

Do both your client system and server use windows authentication?  Are they in the same windows domain?

If you are not using a PWA account with Admin privileges, can you give this a try and see if it make a difference.

If you can answer some of these questions it will help me narrow down the possibilities.

MS PRoject is installed on the same server than Project server
Same credentials used locally and remotely (from client)

I finally find the solution:

Reinstalling the Office Web Components (OWC11.msi) fixed the problem.

Thx all for your help
