SMTP address changes after it is changed in AD

I have a user who has an SMTP address on her account.  Her e-mail address has an extra letter in it.  When I change the address to the correct one, it changes back to the old address within 5 minutes or so.  If I check right after changing it, it looks fine.

Any ideas?
Watch Question

Go to the properties of the users account.
Change the email address as you need to.
UNCHECK the box that say "Automatically update email addresses based on the recipient policy"
