Dada Mail

when sending a list message in the advanced tab it gives you the option to use both html and plain text.  How does this work?  Does the particular email program opening the message decipher what it is capable of seeing?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you have html code in the message you should use html, if not just use plain text. Also if you don't know simple use html and all works ok.

No, it's not the same issue.

I'm just wondering why there are two options in the advanced.  Can you complete both boxes?

Yes, you can send a mail message with plain-text and html, but the best way is to send only one of them.
