Firewall that allows me to install it remotely

Medium Priority
Last Modified: 2013-11-16
I tried installing Zonealarm on a remote Win2k3 server system, but I ended up locking myself out. I needed to get tech support to disable zonealarm.

Is there a software firewall for Win2k3 server which explicitly allows for remote installation? Ideally it would provide some sort of remote administration console that I could use to disable the firewall if I stupidly lock myself out again.

what is your goal with this?
How robust of a firewall do you want.

/obvious mode

There is of course the native Win2k3 Firewall...
it is pretty basic, but is simple to use.
And, for remote access to it simply use Remote Desktop.

with these you don't need any new software to pay for... you already bought it.

That's already there, but if possible I want something more robust. I don't know what the Win2k3 firewall lets through without me telling it to. It also doesn't allow me to trap outbound traffic if desired.
