1. Make your input textbox and give it the Var: myQuery

2. Make your button and give it the action:
on (release) {
getURL("http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=" + myQuery + "&btnG=Search&meta=");
}

Or if you want it to open in it's own window:
on (release) {
getURL("http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=" + myQuery + "&btnG=Search&meta=", "blank");
}

Hey,

This works 50%. Sorry it took me so long to reply, have been away.

Anyway if i use this action script it loads google, but not the search query. it just loads a blank google page.
I am using Flash MX 2004.

The textbox is set as myQuery as you suggested.

Thanks.
