Limit on XP Pro to native VPN (PPTP) connections?

Have a Windows XP Pro machine SP2 that doesn't seem to allow 3 concurrent VPN connections via native Windows XP when trying it yesterday.  Running two is fine.  Is this a limitation with XP Pro?  Has anyone else seen this?  This is a special application so was trying to get three running together if possible.  Firewalls aren't the issue since you can run all of these connections separately.
Thank you in advance,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are all 3 VPN's on different network addresses?

I haven't heard of any limitations on the number of VPN connections you can run at once, however it's usually not a good idea as you are opening each of those networks up to the risk of being connected to the other networks.
