backup will not load tape

Hi All,

my tape back up never seems to run is there anything wrong with this?

no, just sits at status - mounting the media...

was created throught the wizard apart from me adding the /um switch.

has worked once on all the tapes but now has not worked for over a couple of weeks.

would not run

got error - the requested media is not online. please insert spcified media .......

this happens on no matter which media it try.

all media are labelled per day mon - fri

Mondays tape still in so used first media. (servers are hosted so difficult to get at them, have got issue with all tapes though)

does it at least rewind/forward format???

it could be a faulty tape drive.

Look in the menu for Initialize... with NT Backup
