I am using Oracle Application Server 10.1.2/Discoverer 10.1.2 with infrastructure/Middle Tier on same Windows box.  I need to configure OID to use external authentication with Active directory.  The EUL is on an Oracle database on Solaris.  Any setup information would be appreciated.  I need to get Oracle Discoverer(10.1.2)  to use Oracle Internet Directory (OID) External Authentication with Active Directory.

Please check this link to install OID. I have not used it but I have looked at it where I found that there was a very important tip given. Before you attempt to install OID, make sure that the password for system is change back to manager ( just in case you had changed it after installing Oracle). For some reason, the people at Oracle have hardcoded the system parameter password as manager in their build scripts. If the password is not manager, it does not do what it is supposed to do.
