I just recently upgraded my computer to Mac OS 10.4 with VPN client 4.6. I'm trying to connect to vpn going through SonicWAll 3060 with latest firmware. I've been uncessful with the following message:

INFO: isakmp.c:1043:isakmp_ph1begin_i(): begin aggressive mode.
ERROR: isakmp.c:2187:isakmp_chkph1there(): phase2 negotiation failed due to time up waiting for phase1.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a SonicWall 2040, but have never been able to connect to it with my Mac using the built in VPN client.

However, using third party software from Equinux has been successfully.

i am using the latest vpn tracker v4.6 but have been unsuccessful after the 10.4 upgrade.

any thoughts?

at that point I would send your vpn tracker log files to equinux tech support. I had to do this a few times, make to adjustments, send the log file again before I was successful.
