need help on sql statement please i am useing visual basic

i am useing this statement
"select * from partfile where partname like '%KB001%' and flag=0"
 but the result shows
the part name   HKB001   only

is their any good statement to give me the best result

    It should be correct.

    What you expect to show but not displayed?

    it should show me the record that contains the partname KB001 not HKB001

    if you want to only match something like KB001***** then change the like pattern to this 'KB001%' (so you only match at the right)
