Correct way to call func

hi,

I'm using this code to call a function:


onclick=javascript:chk("<%=JSP value%>")

Works fine if:
onclick=javascript:chk("Central")

Error if:
onclick=javascript:chk("Central Area")

Err Msg: Unterminated String Constant.
I think its just taking "Central
and not take other part "Area" How to resolve this.
