slipping tasks

in Microsift project how do I show a task with its orinal date and then the slipped actual date in the gantt chart

    Once you have completed the Project Planning, you will want to save a baseline. Baseline represents the best guess estimate of the project's progression. Go to Tools....Tracking....Save baseline. Select the options to Save baseline for entire Project. Then you can either use the tracking Gantt view to show baseline vs actual. Or you can use the Gantt chart wizard to format your regular Gantt. I would personally just recommend using your tracking Gantt since it is already done for you.
