Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 help

I have one windows 2003 server that is the host machine for 2 virtual servers using Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.

Is there a way to suspend or pause the virtual machines at a time of night so I can get a good backup of the .vhd file?

you cant pause a virtual machine any more than you can pause a live machine :)

you will need to turn them off to get a complete backup
