Windows 2000 Server and USB flash drives

Good morning:

I have one Windows 2000 server that is acting strange.  Everytime I put in a USB drive it is never detected.  This holds true for any one that I try.  The lights on all of the jump drives light up but they never get dtected.  I have put them in every USB slot and get the same result.

Any idea on what is going on?  It looks like the Mass USB storage detection is not working

Do you have service pack 4 applied?  This is needed for USB.

The system file may be corrupt.  You can try removing the USB controller driver in device manager and rebooting.
