But the problem i am experiencing is that i cannot preview documents before i print, This problem is ongoing and someone has curred it before. I am not sure how though. Any suggestions?

are you  printing through the network.. or remote controling the machien with the printer?

its a printer setting.  your printer driver needs to have "preview before printing" checkbox

It is connected, locally to another machine, that printer is then shared, i have connected to that printer whilst it is sharing. So the drivers and all that have been dragged accross, You can acually preview on the machine where the printer is locally connected.

then the setting is in the printer settings.  can you get it to work on either machine?
not all drives offer this function.. update your drivers?
