What are you trying to do with shockwave? Are you using Director?  Shockwave files work fine on my ibook G4.

we are looking at a site called garfieldgames.com - and it uses shockwave to play the games. some people say that the G4 is not working with it. to best of my knowledge, not using Director.

Director can be used to create shockwave content.

Have they updated to the newest shockwave Player?  A lot of people think they need only the regular flash plug-in.  They need the shockwave flash plugin as well.  Get it here:

B_1,

Did this solve the problem?  The site doesn't seem to list  that a shockwave player is needed to play the games, so i'm assuming that they have no idea they need it.  Install the shockwave player should solve the issue.

Hi - they know they need it - and they say they have installed it - but no, it has not solved the problem.
It is needed to play some of the games. IE usually downloads it automatically if needed. There is a note on this in the HELP area.... but MAC's are a known "problem"  :)
