Change the wallpaper of a locked workstation
When I lock my PC (which is on a domain so it locks - not fast user switching), how can i change the background image from just a black background to a nice wallpaper? Using windows xp sp2.
What does your wallpaper look like when it is not locked? Black? When the machine is locked it should use the wallpaper/background that is normally set when logged in.

Could it be because my wallpaper is in png format and not jpg or bitmap?

Why not right click on the image and select edit.. In paint go file> Set as background.
