Start Page

How can I get my Start Page to show more than the last 4 projects I worked on?

For example, what if I want to see EVERY Project I've worked on in the .NET IDE on my start page?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In the options (Tools--> Options) there is a Environment, General section.  Modify the Recently Used File List to a large size if you desire.

Another (hopefully) related question:

What file is used for the Modified Date.  I can add a new file to a project TODAY........but it will still show a Modified Date on the Start Page of like, a month ago?   I would have thought the modified date would update to TODAY after adding a new file to the project.

Also...where are the list of files that belong to a Project stored?  In what file?
As far as I can tell it is not when a project is modifeid, but more of the solution file.  So if you add a project to the solution I think it updates, but adding a file to a project within a siolution (even though it updates the solution) does not seem to affect the date.

I to have wondered exactly what affects that date.  It is not very intuitive....

The files in a project are stored in an xml file that has the .csproj extention (for C# projects) I think it is vbproj for VB projects, but am not 100% sure on that one
