I restart my pc(windows OS) whithout having start Tomcat, and try to access http://localhost:8080/ from browser,
i notice Tomcat is already running. Why is that, How can i avoid this. Also i am being asked to login, when i try to login,
i keep failing( I am shure 100% that i am using correct login info., bz i check my tomcat-users file)

    Accepted Solution

    Because you've installed tomcat as a service. Go to services (type services.msc) in run and find
    Apache in the list. Double click on it and change the startup type to manual. Next time you start
    your system, you shouldn't see tomcat running.

    Where are you trying to login? I didn't get this part of your question properly.
