Increasing maximum number of RD connections for 2003.

I would like to increase the number of RD connections I can have on one of our 2003 servers.  Can this be increased from the default of two?  If so how?
Thanks!

The max. remote desktop connections on windows 2003 server are 2 and a console session.
Just go to "start=>control panel=> system=>remote"  and enable remote desktop on this computer.

With RDP (start =>run=> mstsc) jou can connect 2 session and with mstsc /console you can connect the third one.

Good luck,

So you can't add a license for additional users?

You can't get more than the limit of 2 remote connections without installing application mode just like Walter says...there is no "hack" for this...

Will installing TS application mode change anything besides allowing more users to login?
Application mode is designed to allow for lots of users to RDP in and use the server as a "Terminal server'.

It also requires licensing by MS, so you can't just install it and go on...ethically.
No not really it will take some more server performance but that's it as fare is I know.
You will have a 90 day trail for your users (on a per pc base) to connect to your server.

As others have said, Remote Desktop is the same thing as Terminal Server "Administration Mode" in windows 2000, intsalling terminal server on 03 is application mode in 2000 as is also labeled in 2003, You will be given a 90 day period before having to connect to a licensing server for authentication of your licenses.

Are you running into a situation where there are more that 2 administrators working on the same box remotely?
