Hotmail and forwarding images issue

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask question, but I am having an issue with hotmail.  Everytime I try to forward an email containing images to someone else on my contact list, they can't open the image, is this my fault or are some internet settings blocking the image?

COuld be on either end.  I don't use hotmail, but most programs forward images in messages intact.  However, some may not.  Additionally, some programs block images.

A good test is to forward it back to yourself and see what happens.
