textarea problem

i created a form with a textarea and i have the following problem

the size of the textarea is
<textarea rows='8' cols='53' name=tekst></textarea>

problem is that in mozilla browser this textarea size is perfect

but with microsoft internet browser this textarea is much smaller then in mozilla
is it possible to give this textarea same size ???

    Accepted Solution

    Use pixels instead of characters for sizing:

    <textarea name='tekst' style='width: 50px; height: 400px;'></textarea>

    Adjust the sizes above as neccessary.

    Using rows and cols bases the size on character size, really unpredictable and mozilla font sizes are different than IE font sizes.
