Archive/remove mail from mailbox

Hi,
I have mailbox that all spam/virus email is copied to. Reason is that if my spam filter grabs an important email it is simple to log into that box and retrieve that email. Problem is that box is getting about 2500 email a day which adds up fast. I would like all email in that box to be removed after it is a week old. Is there a way to do this from the server? I do not want this setup client side.

Thanks,
Donnie

Which Exchange server you are using?
In Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003, we have Mailbox Management policies. You can configure a policy to delete every mail from this mailbox which is older than a week. its very simple to achive.

Thanks,
Amit Aggarwal.

Perfect, You can use Mailbox Management policy to do that.  Check the KB given above.

Thanks,

I accept this answer. I haven't got a chance to work on this yet but thanks for your help.
