Can anybody fix this - I ruined my header!

We are a member of one of those template subscription companies, and I was modifying this header image:

as you can see, the white box in the middle is screwing things up.

Can anyone fix this, and tell me how you did it?

The boss sure would appreciate this! :)

    I used Marque and Patch tools to fix the above pictures.
