Using MessengerAPI to send messages to MSN messenger, and NOT windows messenger

I´m bulding an application, that, among other things, can send instant messages using the MessengerAPI published by microsoft. It works fine with Windows messenger, but I can´t get it to work with MSN messenger. I can sign in, and view my contacts, but I can´t find a method that sends a message to one of my contacts.

For now I am developping in C#, but will propably switch to Visual C++ once I´ve cracked the nut, so if anyone have had success doing it in C++, that´s fine too.

If anyone know of another API that can be helpful, that would fine too, as long as it can be used on win32, and referenced by visual studio. I´ve tried to compile libmsn (a C++ API build for linux) to win32 without any luck.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It seems promising, but I can´t run the command "tlbimp".
I have installed the .NET SDK, but I can´t find tlbimp.exe anywhere...:(

Any ideas?
Did you installed all tools in ".NET Framework Tools" ?
