Hi,

I have 2 computer objects in our AD that I can not delete; I receive the following error:

Error reading computer account!

There is no such object on the server

How can I delete these objects..???

This is a Win2003 single domain.

Do these Computers actually physically exist on your network?  If so remove them from the Domain locally at the PC's.  If not, check to see if there is an AD cleanup tool in Support Tools.

I have solved it!

I had renamed a few PCs and hour ago; I have just checked AD again and the ones I tried to delete had gone and were replaced with two new ones! with the names I have just changed them too!!!!

Never mind.
