differnce between books: Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit

I want to add the above title to my library of knowledge and notice that there are two versions

1)Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit: Special Promotion Edition (Paperback)
2)Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit (Paperback)

I also notice that the promotion edition is roughly $60 less than the non-promotion edition.  what I don't notice is what the difference is in the two.

does anyone kknow what the difference is in the two ither than cost??

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The Resource Kit is a collect of 7 or 8 books.  Check the ISBN numbers - if they are different, post them here and I'll have a look.

There's no difference.

I think that interest isn't as high as they thought it would be so they created a promo SKU that is less money.

Agreed, but perhaps the promo ISBN is easy to track for sales than an actual sale with the original ISBN - ?

Sounds a little off to me also.  Rest assured it appears to be the same.

I wonder if you should call MS Press to find out for sure?
