updating dns server

is there anyway to push update to other dns server ?
after i change the ip on one web server and update my dns server, i know it takes a day or two for it to go around
wonder if there is anyway to speed that up ?

    You mean non-slaves, but other dns servers - then no.

    Usual TTL is set to 1day or 2days. Change it to 1hour if You like. Then other caching nameservers would keep the recors for one hour only.
