well an open source proxy server is Squid. &nbsp;Its a pretty smart piece of software and should be able to do the user stuff you want (not sure though). &nbsp;However, I'm definitely not an expert on Squid and would have to refer you to just asking more questions on EE. &nbsp;I know what you can do with Squid too, is block urls, ips, etc. on a time basis and on a per user basis (but that requires authentication, which is where the per user stuff I believe comes in).
