Hi ,

I have a display issue with the arabic nls

my applicaiton is running on oracle forms deployed on 10gAS rel 1 .
I have hte nls_lang parameter
set as
 ARABIC_UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.AR8MSWIN1256

NOT THE DATE FIELDS AND NUMERIC FIELDS WILL DISPLAY THE ARABIC NUMERALS
WHERE AS i WANT THE DISPLAY TO BE IN ENGLISH NUMERALS 1,2,3,4 ETC ...BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE DIRECTION OF THE SCREEN HAS TO BE FROM RIGHT TO LEFT AND THE ARABIC LABELS HAS OT BE DISPLAYED PROPERLY .

Right now if  I get the screens from right to left then the numbers iwll automatically turn to arabic numerals ...where as I require the numerals and the date to be displayed  in english numerals.

requesting some expert help on this please ...

   Thanks in advance .
