failed to installed SQL server 2005 express under win 2000 SP4

the two main errors in my event log
1.

Could not start the network library because of an internal error in the network library. To determine the cause, review the errors immediately preceding this one in the error log.

SQL Server could not spawn FRunCM thread. Check the SQL Server error log and the Windows event logs for information about possible related problems.
When i open the SQL Server 2005 surface area configuration & Surface Area Configuraion for Features after the install has failed :
i click SQL server 2005 surface area configuration, it says "computer localhost does not exist on the network or the computer cannot be configured remotely. Verify that the remote computer has required WMI components and then try again"
i click Surface Area Configuraion for Features, it says "An exception occurred in SMO while trying to manage a service (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)
-Additional info: failed to retrieve data for thsi request , Provider failure (System.Management)
I install VS 2005 enterprise on my PC and try to install SQL 2005 express it failed. Then I install Visual Web Develoepr express. It tryed to install SQL 2005 express but it say error starting the SQL Server service and it rolled back the installation.
I am running on windows 2000 SP4. I used windows authetication, disable vines network protocol and the sg agent still failed to start....Going to adminstrative tools and starting the sgql agent manually also doesnt work....someone got any clues?

i already look at it but the readme don't have the error message I encountered...
disable firewall install SQL and then enable Firewall.

i got a router no firewall i guess...so u suggest i remove the router lst?

win 2000 doesnt have a own firewall....
Ok can you Click the SQL Server Configuration Manager and Check the network Protocols.

finally SQL 2005 express to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It failed to install for me when using VS 2005 install in WIN 2K SP 4 and saying the sql server agent refuse to start....
i solve it with the help of the following urls... nobody seems to know the answer sighed.

as for the third url, I uninstall everything related to SQL Server 2005 express EXCEPT the VS 2005 SQL MOBILE TOOLS. Then it tell me i cannot install cos I missing the SQL Native client. I go to the dvd \vs\wcu\SSE and find the sqlcnli.exe which is the native sql client and then choose repair...then uncheck advanced options....then click SQL and Windows authetication and choose a SA login for it....from then everything goes smoothly!!!!
