I need to export a lot of emails in outlook express

I am sick of having to change folders and also sick of changing eml to txt

Is there something I can change in the registry to set a different default folder and also to txt, not eml

I believe this is not natively possible within Outlook Express.  There are third-party tools available for the mass-export of such e-mails, but these are all commercial, last I looked.  Additionally, they all use the MAPI protocol to gain access to the e-mails, so if there's another e-mail client which has the functionality you seek & can import e-mails through MAPI, then that is an optional way to go.

Thanks for replying, I expected this probably was the case, but hoping somebody had already found a solution to this.

If no other positive replies, I will get back and award points
