Interestingly, the above mentioned problem occurs only on the AIX operating system. The same application works fine on both Windows and Linux. <br />

Any clues on what might be causing the text to not appear on dialog boxes / controls ??

I have installed a 1.5 JRE in the system directory of an AIX system. I copied another 1.5 JRE to the temporary directory. I then add the temporary JRE in the list of JREs under Control Panel. <br />

I invoke the JNLP file using the installed JRE, the jnlp file then invokes the application using the temporary JRE. However, the security warning dialog box which appears has all the text missing. Only the window title is displayed along with the icons. The text is all missing. <br />
<br />
The locale is US English. <br />

What could be going wrong? I am at a loss!!! Please help !<br />

Dialog text missing while using Java Web Start
