Delete option in Windows Explorer: Tools > Synchronize

Hi,
I would like to delete the option :  Tools > Synchronize in Windows explorer. So, only the Synchronize option.
Any has an idea how to do that?

Cheers!

Hi Schurink,

you cant delete an item that is hardcoded into windows, are you running Active Directory, if so we can play with policies

Cheers!

Hi,
Well i am looking for the registry/policy setting to delete this button. I don't think there is an other way.
I know for example that you can delete the FILE menu in your menu bar by a registry setting. So if anyone knows which one it is......

There is no easy way of removing the button, but...

Using NTFS permissions, DENY full control to the users on two files:

Windows\system32\mobsync.exe
Windows\system32\mobsync.dll

That will not remove the button, but it simply won't do anything. Mobsync is the executable responsible for synchronizing files and web sites.
