Sub reporting in CR9.Net

This problem belongs to unusual bevavior of sub reporting in CR9.Net. Let me explain it more clearly. I created a report say it "Report1.rpt". I inserted group into it and added conditional code in the event of "New Page After" at group header.

conditional code:

IF (RecordNumber MOD 6) = 1 THEN

This condition works fine when I run this report as a single independent report. Problem arises when I add this report as sub-report in an other report. In this case, condition doesn't It dosen't jump to a new page according to this condition.

Please help me find soultion for this.

Hi talhaamin,

Have you checked the link between main report and subreport?
If master and child keys are not linked, the subreport will fail to receive the conditional 'answer'.

Links are working well with the sub-report and so data in the sub-report are coming accordingly..but this is exception, that one specific condition,I have already mentioned, doesn't work..
Maybe you should try and put the conditional code on the section where the subreport is put. (on the master report!)
I have tried the same conditional code as yours in a new report, used it as subreport and it failed too.

But when i put the conditional code in the master report at the section the subreport could be located, it worked fine!
