VS 2005 Updates

Has Microsoft not released any updates for Visual Studio 2005 yet? I mean the thing is full of bugs and it's been over 4 months since its release. I'm not talking about a service pack but at least small updates like hot fixes. I thought maybe Windows Update website would patch bugs in VS like it does to Office, but it doesn't look like it.

I also noticed that it's been over two years since the release of Visual Studio .NET 2003 and I haven't been able to find any updates for that either - not even a service pack. Was Visual Studio .NET 2003 bug free?

Or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. If anyone knows of any updates Microsoft might have released for VS 2005 that I am not aware of please let me know as the bugs are slowly driving me crazy!

I found this on Google searches as well:

The question has the answer hidden in its-self : No!!
Have you ever gone to SourceForge project pages? Although many of them are very small projects (much smaller than a Visual Studio thing) they have a forum very rich of bug reports, and they are regularly being updated. This is what big commercial companies don't do. No matter the name is Microsoft or Symantec etc. Although... the name of the company has a correlation with the severity of the problem! ;)
