How do I configure the Raid Array Controller on a Compaq proliant 3000
Hi,
wonder if anyone get help.
I have a Compaq Proliant 3000 which we were given recently and I can't get the Array Controller working.
I have started off the entire process by using the System Erase utility, then gone through the whole step by step process of installation. Now I have a working system except no Array Controller.
When I press F10 on boot and go to System Configuration - Drive Array Configuration - Insert the diskette labeled Drive Array Configuration into Drive A and insert the disk which I created earlier using the Smart Disk (version 55 I think) and it asks to reboot, which it does. I then get an invalid system disk error.
If I remove the disk beofore it reboots, the system just goes straight into Win 2K
How do I do this?
thanks,

I have found out that there is no array controller on this machine. Hence I couldn't find it.
The giveaway was when the disks spun up and showed up as being attached to the SCSI device. If there had of been an array controller, they would not have done this.
