Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP2 -sending emails but the receiver just gets blank email

Hi there,

The app seems to be running fine generally, but occassionally (there doesn't seem to be a pattern), when I send an email, the receiver just gets a blank email from me. When I look for the email in my 'sent items' it's there just as a blank email (just as the receiver got it). The computer is part of a network and no one seems to be facing the same problem.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Compare the settings found in Outlook>tools>mail format tab - on your pc with the settings you find on another user's outlook. Are there any differences?

Had any user on the network faced the same issue over email that you sent?

Try sending a plain text email to one of the people who recieved an empty email and also check in sent item if it is visible.

Greetings, upul007 !

Go to START > RUN and type regsvr32 inetcomm.dll
The body of your email should reappear.

The recipient may need to also register this file in their computer.

Best wishes!
