sending email with default email editor

Hi,
I want to send email with attachment with my default email editor. What I want to set programatically is just the subject line and files to be attached. Then the program should open 'New Mail' window of my default email editor (Outlook for my case) with Subject line and attached files preset. Also, it would be nice if I can preset some body text.

I tried SMTP mail, but it sends email without allowing me use my default email editor. Is there any other way?

Here is an article with examples on how to automate Outlook using c# - including sending an email.  Hope this helps!

I don't want to automate Outlook. I am looking for code which uses default email editor, whichever it is (Outlook, lotus notes etc).

Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.

dear e1v, mailto, though opens default email editor, is not suitable as it does not support file attachment.

You can attach one file using mailto with attachments="myfile.name"

But it seems like multiple attachments is not possible

Dear e1v,
have you tested this? I am not able to attach even a single file. I am using C#. It just ignores the attachments="myfile.name". Do you have a working code snippet?

Thanks e1v.
It works. While specifying the file name, I have to use some extra quotes to make it work.
