Auto reminder for Exchange Calendar

When i create an appointment on the exchange calendar there is the ability to set a reminder.  is there a way to create an auto reminder that is email to a group of users?  If so will this work for a reoccuring event?  

Basically i would like for certain people to be automatically reminded about certain events, both one time events and reoccuring events.

Once you will create an appointment and will enable the reminder on it and send the invitation to the attendees, As soon as all attendees will accept the meeting request, their own calendar will be updated and this reminder will trigger on their personal calendar and will remind them also as a pop-up in their Outlook Client. (it will work on both one time and reoccuring events)
There is no way (as far as i know) to send reminder as email again to attendees.
