Lilo Boot

Hi i am trying to make a disaster recovery partition so i can boot linux and set it to restore a partition!

I am very new to linux and am learning as i go along!

Can someone tell me how to edit the lilo.conf file so that lilo will not display a boot screen but instead boot straight into linux

I tried commenting out prompt and also changing the delay to 0 but it still displays a 15 second box on boot!

Thanks

After changing entries in the conf file you must run lilo. I suggest you to rather use GRUB, which is much better and easier to maintain than lilo.
