Hi,
I have installed .Net app on a .net windows 2003 server. I was told that the machine had the .NET framework 1.1 already installed. However when i run the app i get the following error message.
COM object with CLSID {56FC8553-FACB-11D0-9336-0060979375D9} is either not valid or not registered.

I suspect the framework has not been installed properly because when i go to add/remove programs i cannot see >NET framework in the list.
However if i try to install FW 1.1  I get a msg saying it is already installed..
Cananyone tell me how i can uninstall FW 1.1 or suggest some other fix for the error msg above.
Thanks

That is a COM error, and not a .NET framework error.  Does your application have reference to a COM library.  That library needs to be registered on the server.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Is there a reason that you need to uninstall the .NET framework?
