Hello on our servers i am currently using the stardart windows backup utility. &nbsp;I have heard from different sources that this is not a good program to use and there are better 3rd party alternatives. &nbsp;A couple people have recomended the Symantic backup utility. &nbsp;Is there any reason to really use a different backup utility if the microsoft one has all the features i need? &nbsp;I understand Symantic may have more features but the microsoft one does everything i need? &nbsp;Is there any hidden risk of corruption or anything else dangerous i should be concerned with when using the windows backup? &nbsp;Any input is appriciated.<br />

Windows Backup Program

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
