How to transfer a Thawte Certificate ?

Not entirly sure this is the right area, but here we go;

We have a Thawte Premium Server CA installed on an SBS2003 server BUT we have just built a new box (SBS2003), how do we tranfer this certificate to the new box?

The new box has the same IP and domain names as the old.

TIA, Bill.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Open Internet Information Services, go to the web site, right clickthe site and select Properties.
Click on the Directory Security tab, click Server Certificate button.
Click Next and select Export the current certificate to a .pfx file, then click Next.
Verify the file name of which the pfx is exported.
Click Next, type in a password (twice), click Next, Next and then Finish.
Import the .pfx file on the new Server.

Well earned Darwinian, I would have got there in the end but after a 4day server/network migration I was frazzled.

I imported the certificate in to the new server, worked a treat and the company has OWA with SSL.

See my next question on running multiple SSL web sites with a single certificate.......
