Classifieds script for alternative to noah's classifieds

Can someone recommend a script similar to noah's classifieds...I would like to be able to administer acct registrations (must be enabled by admin) , expiry dates for listings...etc etc...

I would like to have someone who is experienced to be able to recommend a fee/ or better yet free based script with optional support....

Ive scourded hotscripts and another site but cannot seem to find one that i like....If possible as well the script must be capable of running on PHP5 as my server can only support this at the moment...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It probably depends on your skill level.

I am a big fan of the Mosets Hot Property which runs inside the free OpenSource Joomla CMS System.  Mosets is marketed as a Real Estate listing script, but is intended for listing anything - read the site for more info (www.mosets.com).  They also have Mosets Tree, which is useful for any directory-style classification/search.  I've used both products to great effect for lots of purposes, including classified advert listings for a local paper.

The only other classified scripts I've used are Noah's, which I regularly recommend, and you already know about.  Then there is the Flexinode module that runs under Drupal, which *can* be used for classified, but I haven't done so, although Flexinode is a good product, I've just never had to use it this way.

There are lots of other classes/scripts out there that can help you, but I cant recommend anything else from experience.  In general the code is quite simple, so unless I used a packaged solution I tend to write this element using my own classes.

Finally, since you;re asking about listings, I have to mention EDGEIO (www.edgeio.com) which started up a week or two ago and is a new approach to listings, and something else people are talking about is BlogBuy (www.blogbuy.com) which can be integrated with your blogging system if you use one.

wanted to mention as well...that it would be nice to have a listing but also be able to have a popup with description for each listing..... and the option to print just the add from there....that would be great if this is part of the programming built in
