Images in Email are getting scrambled

When a user receives a pdf file that is sent with the pdf as the actual body of the email, it is received as an attachment.  This only happens to certain users.  I , for example, receive the document as it was sent, with the pdf embedded as a picture, not as an attachment.  Any ideas why this would happen, and how to fix it?  It also seems to happen

Your question got cut off, but please check the versions for the different clients, and the mime/ RTf option in the person doc

I hope this helps !

Is this for everyone or just the person with the problems. Compare it for the ones who work, vs. the ones with the problems.

ALso the CLient versions need to be checked. Are they all the same ?

client versions are the same
the people with the problems are no different than anyone else
this is a clustered environment, the mail is going from a person on one server to a different server.
however, if the message is sent to me , it is fine, and I am on the same server as the person who is having the issue

seems that when the mail is transfered between servers, using SMTP, its stripping out the embedded images (pdf as well as gif jpgs etc) and making them attachments

Then don't Use SMTP to transfer between Notes Servers use the Notes Protocol and everything should be left intact.

Is this the solution you used or ???
