actually, the mdc file is a self generating cube file from transformer. In order to produce the mdc powercube file, you'll need to create an mdl file (cube model) by using Powerplay Transformer.

tried connecting cognos transformer to SQL server, but SLQ server was not an option - even though MS access was. &nbsp;so created a cube thru analysis services.<br />

how do i link cognos powerplay to the cube. &nbsp;from what i can understand from powerplay, it needs an .mdc cube, but i can't seem to find an *.mdc file anywhere on my PC<br />
