Redirect "Sent Mail" folder in IMAP?

Hello, I know you can do this in Thunderbird, but I would much rather (for the sake of our users) be able to do this in Outlook.  We are going to be using an IMAP email server using the Outlook 2003 client, and I was wondering how (if possible) we could redirect all "sent mail" to an IMAP folder.  The basic setup causes the sent mail to go to the "sent mail" folder which is then stored in a pst locally on the computer.  Any ideas?

    Greetings, dpsit !

You can create a rule in Outlook to redirect e-mail to other e-mail servers. See How to Forward / Redirect your E-mail (

OK, so we can create a rule to do this (copy sent mail to a IMAP folder)... but how do we get rid of the copy that stays in the generic "Sent Items" folder aside from having to manually delete it?

Never mind, I figured that part out :)
